The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency stated it truly is alarmed with regards to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area each day. The services level developed for intervention encounters a large inflow of status sassa probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to help the servicing of all shoppers and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
